  When it comes to Fun-Ky, the phrase "don't judge a book by its cover" definitely comes to mind. The restaurant is by no means fancy, the exterior of the building and the interior decorations do not do the food and service justice. The restaurant is run and largely staffed by the owners, a husband and wife along with their two young kids. When my family dined at Fun-Ky, the owner's wife brought her own kids' toys to our table to make sure that our little one was entertained and looked after. She even brought cookies and crackers out so our little one would have something her age to snack on. Words don't do the food justice. The pho I had was comparable to some of the best pho's I've eaten in top Vancouver restaurants, and the rest of my party was literally licking their fingers having had the stir fries. Everything was made to order and served piping hot. All ingredients were very fresh, too. Overall I enjoyed dining there a lot!

  First actual Asian cuisine we've found in Nfld. Good pho! Good vermicelli/bun! Too bad their bubble tea cups are still on order - that would have been tops :D Well worth a visit for a break from the local breaded everything.

  When you first approach the building it looks a bit sketchy. When you walk in it's very poorly decorated, lots of the chairs had tape on them and it smells like the sewer has backed up. The service wasn't amazing by no means, wasn't asked how our food was or if we needed anything. My boyfriend had to ask for another glass of water. Which is fine, besides the point. The food, oh boy. The spring rolls with sauce were amazing. The best thing out of our meal. Except extremely greasy, like it squirted when we bit into them. Next we ordered the beef with rice noodles (Pho) and it wasn't even worth 2 stars. The pho broth didn't taste like it normally should (any of the other restaurants I've gone too) and the beef was so fatty I couldn't even eat it. It wasn't the traditional noodles I'm used to either. These were thick rice noodles I prefer the really thin almost like angel hair or ramen noodles. All in all, I rate this a 3 and it probably doesn't even deserve that, but the spring rolls got the extra star.

  This place has wicked spring rolls! Definitely worth going for! The only reason I took a star off is because the building sometimes smells a bit funny, and the last noodle dish I ate there was LOADED with fried garlic. Like way too much. But get the spring rolls!!!! And the dipping sauce is a must!
